Tom’s Semi-Retirement

Tom Patten semi-retired on July 1. Tom was key in building Westminster Home Connection from the ground up. He started his journey with us in 2010, driving from the Gulf Coast, where he had been working with homeowners affected by Hurricane Katrina, to Nashville to help with flood recovery. Fortunately for us, Tom made Nashville his home. Tom organized volunteer teams and led construction projects. He also specialized in solving unique problems for clients and demonstrated immense patience and ingenuity. Tom has made the homes of over 1,000 of our older neighbors safer and more functional. Tom plans to spend his retirement visiting family in Michigan and taking educational trips. Tom also enjoys playing guitar in old-time music bands. Starting this Fall, he will work with Westminster occasionally.  We are grateful for all Tom has done for our community and that he will still be around for jobs here and there. We wish Tom the best in his well-deserved new phase of life.
